Acclaimed Poet and Hawai'i Scholar Jamaica Osorio to Lecture at Pacific University
Dr. Jamaica Heolimeleikalani Osorio is a three-time national poetry champion and acclaimed writer. A Kānaka Maoli wahine artist and activist, she has a Ph.D. in English Hawaiian literature from the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa, where she is now Associate Professor of Indigenous and Native Hawaiian Politics. IMUA Creator & Editor Malia Guerrero: Interview
Imua, Go Forward is an anthology of poetry Malia Guerrero created as a letter of love to the young people of Hawai’i. Growing up on Oahu, she did not see herself or many of the kids in her classes reflected in their assigned readings for their English classes. As an interning editor and writer at Pacific University Press, Malia set out to address the problem by creating IMUA.


Talks in a Tuscan Town: Beyond Tourism
