Make Book Art on Campus: Mice & Tea
- Jan 12
- 1 min read
Recycle old books into art at Duniway House. Be inspired by our tea-infused writing sessions and our resident house mouse.

When: Thursday, May 7, Evening
Where: Abigail Scott Duniway House Table, Forest Grove Campus
Take a break from studying for final exams and finishing projects.
You are welcome to gather in our favorite "bookish" room at Duniway House and make book art inspired by our house mouse Abigail. You'll create clever pieces you can take home.
Cups are actual cup-size. Mice too. (Eek!)
Pattern, glue, and old books provided. Tea too, of course. If you want, you can bring you own old book you are willing to dismember for this project. Thicker paper works best, but you can use thinner pages if you glue them together.
Please email us to know you plan to attend so we have supplies for you on hand.
Book obsessives and creatives invited. Any anyone who needing quiet, gentle fun.
Mice
I think mice are rather nice.
Their tales are long,
Their faces small,
They haven't any
Chins at all.
Their ears are pink,
Their teeth are white,
They run about
The (Duniway) house at night.
They nibble things
They shouldn't touch
And no one seems
to like them much
(Except for our Abigail!).
I think thin mice
are nice.
