Trade Talk with High Profile Cover Artist Tom Hallman

Internationally known illustrator, Tom Hallman, has created over 1,600 works in numerous genres for nearly 500 authors, including the original hardcover for A Game of Thrones by George R. R. Martin, Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand, Pachinko by Min Jin Lee, Tar Baby by Toni Morrison, and multiple covers for Dean Koontz, Stephen King, John Grisham, Clive Cussler, Nicholas Sparks, Nelson DeMille, Justin Cronin, and Jean Hanff Korelitz.

For this Zoom Talk, Hallman will offer a Q & A with Pacific interns, students, educators, and guests. Topics include his creative process, the state of cover art creation today, suggestions for career paths, and the ways AI is changing book design.
